- A Process for Conflict Intervention (2 day)
Dealing with conflict can be both frustrating and time consuming and can also limit the effectiveness of all the people involved. Whether a dispute involves two individuals or a larger group, a mediated process can resolve disputes that otherwise would continue to be a burden on all those involved. This skills based workshop is designed to give participants the understanding to work with disputing parties to identify interests, clarify issues and work towards options for resolving the conflict. Participants will have the opportunity to experience scenarios that will help prepare them for intervening in various conflict situations.
