Negotiation for Life - Getting What you Need (2 day)
We negotiate ways to meet our needs and the needs of people we represent on a daily basis - from mundane matters like who will cook supper to more weighty subjects such as sharing work space or the terms of contracts. Negotiation is often based on unconscious patterns that result in less beneficial outcomes than is desired. In this workshop, participants will be challenged to become conscious of their negotiation patterns and approaches in order to utilize essential strategies and skills to get the most from their negotiations. Participants will explore a variety of negotiation strategies and styles that are applicable in both relational and financial/contract matters. This is an interactive training where participants will work through a variety of scenarios and activities that will help them enhance their negotiation skills.
